The minimum age for adopters is 18 years.
We reserve the right to refuse adoptions without explanation.

Fees
To register your commitment and reserve a specific dog, we
request a £50 deposit; deposits are non-refundable unless the dog
can no longer be made available.
The minimum adoption fees are:
£450 for puppies and adults (up to 8 years old)
£250 for our oldies and disabled.
This adoption fee helps to cover some of the costs already incurred
(e.g microchip, vaccinations, transport from Romania) and is NOT
a purchase price for the dog.
Adoption fees are final and cannot be refunded.
To cover other rescue expenses, such as unforeseen veterinary
bills, we have to fundraise; as such, we always appreciate any cash
or other equipment donations.
Although our website is regularly updated, there are no
guarantees that a posted dog is still available; however, we will
never take a deposit for a dog that is not available.
Adoptions
Adoption refers to collection; once the dog has been collected
(even if final payment is still pending) the dog is deemed to have
been adopted.
All of our dogs are rehomed as family pets only; we do not rehome
dogs for breeding or guarding activities.
All dogs must sleep inside the home; they must have adequate
shelter if outside for any period.
The adopter agrees to keep property boundaries secure to ensure
the dog’s ongoing safety.
The adopter agrees to get the dog spayed or neutered at a
suitable time as advised by their vet.
We reserve the right to check that this has been done, and
veterinary evidence may be required.
We will not place a dog in a home that has unneutered dogs of
the opposite sex.
Adopters must advise us immediately of any change in
circumstances which mean the dog is no longer getting the
necessary care.
Veterinary Care
We will endeavour to give you as much background about a dog
as we can – on the understanding that such information may well
be very limited.
Where medical history is known, we will share whatever
information we have with you.
Love4Dogs are not liable for any vet bills once a dog has been
adopted, and you are strongly advised to take out adequate
pet insurance cover.
IMPORTANT
If an adopted dog is no longer wanted, for whatever reason, the
dog reverts to the ownership of Love4dogs
To allow us to help you, a two-week notice period must be given
prior to the required removal date. Should the adopter require the
dog to be removed earlier than this, the adopter is liable for any
costs incurred, such as special travel arrangements and/or
emergency kennelling.
· The adopter must NEVER re-home the dog themselves.
· The adopter must NEVER offer the dog for private sale.
· The adopter must NEVER place the dog with any other rescue
organisation, unless explicitly advised to do so by Love4dogs.
· The adopter must NEVER offer or promote the dogData on any selling
site whatsoever (even for free) as this puts the animal in great
danger of being mistreated and/or exploited.
In the event of a breach of any of these terms, we reserve the right
to reclaim the dog (for example, if it is found to have been used for
breeding).
